Why: Millions of people search Google Maps every day. A free listing on Google Maps makes it easy for them to find you. Use the Local Business Center to create your free listing. When potential customers search Maps for local information, they’ll find your business: your address, hours of operation, even coupons to print out and bring to your shop. It’s easy and free. Even if you don’t have a website.

How:
1. Go to www.google.com/local/add, you will see screen as below:

Sign in with your Google Account, fill in your Google account’s details, and click Sign in.

Easy follow the form fill in your company information, in the right side, Google will auto find out the position which you inputted, as below:

Now, we filled Notrue’s details, in the right side, we can see Google already find out the location for Noture.Google Map | Local Business
If you think the MAP MARKER is not right, you can select Fix incorrect maker location to adjust it as your real location.

Click Next, choose the catalogue for your business:

Click Next, Select your opening hours and payment type:

Click Next, select some photos about your storefront or your products, up to 10. if you like, you could insert one video in:

Click Next go to Custom page, here you can input your custom field in:
Google Map | Local Business

Click Next go to Validation page, then Click Finish.

After that, we will see an instruction about how to validate your Google Map Location.
You can choose by phone, by SMS or by post.
After the validation, you will see your business on Google

After you confirmed you can search your retail shop on Google Map, it also means everyone can search your retail shop on Google map in the future.
